Community Engagement: 15th District with BUILD Chicago
015th District Officers and BUILD Chicago’s All-Star Team met at Moore Park in the Austin community to play a game of softball to encourage positive interaction through teamwork and sports. It was a win-win situation for the community and the officers.

This alert gives notice to residents in the 7th, 11th and 15th Districts (Areas North and South) of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of September. In these incidents, the offender(s) used force or the threat of force by displaying a handgun, and taking cell phones, coats and vehicles from citizens on the street. Roadside Safety Check – 3rd (Grand Crossing) District
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Grand Crossing (3rd) District at 6401 S. Cottage. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12th, 2015. Click here for more information

This alert gives notice to residents in the 15th District (Austin) of an increase in Burglary related incidents that have occurred during the months of August and September. In these incidents, an unknown offender(s) enters the victim’s residence through an unlocked window or unlocked rear door and removes the victim’s property. This alert gives notice to residents in the 15th District (Austin) of an increase in Robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of August 2015. In these incidents the victim’s are approached by two unknown male black offenders who force the victim down to the ground and rob them of their property. In these incidents two male black offenders who are armed with handguns, approach victim and rob them of their personal property and take the victims vehicle.
