Community Alert – 8th District – Attempted Luring (HY125117)
On January 21, 2015 at approximately 3:15 PM, an unknown male in a parked red minivan, attempted to lure a female youth into his vehicle by telling her that her mother told him to pick her up from school. The female youth refused and walked away. The offender at this time fled in the vehicle. This incident occurred in the vicinity of the 4700 block of South Komensky. Community Alert – 10th District – Home Invasion, Attempted Criminal Sexual Assault (HY124049)
This alert gives notice to residents of the 10th District (Ogden) of a Home Invasion / Attempt Criminal Sexual Assault that occurred on the 2900 Block of West 25th Street on January 22, 2015. An unknown offender entered a home through a window and attacked an adult female victim while threatening to sexually assault her. Community Alert – 11th District – Armed Robbery/Handgun (P15-N-023)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of three Armed Robberies that have occurred in the month of January 2015. In all three incidents, the offenders approached the victims from behind and displayed a handgun and then demanded property from the victims. Community Alert – 11th District – Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking (P15-N-024)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of two Aggravated Vehicular Hijackings that occurred on January 20, 2015. In one incident, three offenders approached the victim and one of the offenders displayed a firearm and the offenders took possession of the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene in her vehicle. Community Alert – 14th District – Criminal Sexual Assault (HY120365)
On January 19, 2015, at approximately 1:54 am, a female was walking in the 1700 block of West Pierce when she was tackled to the ground from behind. The offender climbed on top of the victim, ripped her pants open and assaulted her. The victim began to scream for help, and subsequently heard a passerby verbally challenge the offender.
