Community Alert – 14th District – Armed Robberies (P15-N-149)
14th district Armed Robberies P15-N-149 Armed Robberies in which the offender is targeting small retail stores and restaurants have occurred in the 14th District. Offender robs small retail store or restaurant at gunpoint, and is seen carrying a black backpack. He retrieves a black or blue-steel pistol from his backpack or from his waistband. The offender flees on foot, and was sighted fleeing down the Blue Line subway stairs at Division and Milwaukee from the robbery on June 23, 2015.

Community Alert – 3rd District – Attempted Luring (HY305987)
On June 18, 2015 at approximately 8:00 AM, at 60th and Rhodes, a 14 year old female was walking to school when an unknown male and unknown female attempted to lure her into their vehicle. They pulled alongside the female and asked her if she wanted a ride. She refused and immediately informed a school crossing guard. The offenders fled when they observed the victim approached the crossing guard. Click here for more information

Community Alert – 17th District – Robberies (P15-N-140)
Two armed robberies have occurred in the 17th District on beat 1724. In the first incident, three offenders approach a victim in the alley, demand money, display a handgun, point it to the victim’s head and take the victim’s cell phone and money. In the second incident, a single offender is in the alley, acting as though he needs help. As the victim approaches, the offender strikes him in the head with a handgun and takes the victim’s money. Community Alert – 10th District – Wanted for Attempted Luring (HY287940)
10th district Attempt Luring _HY287940_On June 3, 2015, at approximately 7:50 AM, on the 2600 block of W 21st Place a male Hispanic attempted to lure a 14 year old female into his vehicle. The Offender used his vehicle to block the youth’s path as she attempted to cross the street. At which time she ran away.

Community Alert – 3rd District – Wanted for Attempted Luring (HY283594)
3rd district Attempt Luring _HY283594_On June 1, 2015, at approximately 6:20 AM, in the 7200 block of S. Stony Island Ave, two (2) unknown black males attempted to lure a14 year old female into their vehicle. The female youth refused and ran away. After following the youth a short distance the vehicle drove off in unknown direction. The female youth ran home and informed her mother who called police.
