Community Alert – Major Accidents, 25th District – Hit & Run (HZ153769)
On February 16, 2016 at approximately 5:18 p.m., two pedestrians, a male and a female, both 16-years-old, were struck by a vehicle as they were crossing the street in the 5300 Block of W. Grand Avenue. The victims were struck by an unknown vehicle. is described as a dark green in color, SUV, (possible Jeep Rubicon with spare tire on back and “Rubicon” printed on hood). Detectives are seeking to identify and interview the pictured subject for an Aggravated Battery which occurred on the CTA Orange Line Train on February 29, 2016 at approximately 2:30 p.m. The offender broke the nose and orbital bone of a passenger on the Orange Line after the passenger (victim) asked him not to smoke on the train.
