This alert gives notice to residents of Beat 613 in the Gresham District of robbery incidents which have occurred in the month of June 2016. This alert gives notice to residents of Beat 623 in the Gresham District of a recent increase in garage burglaries. A total of four incidents were reported between June 16 and June 23, 2016 and occurred in the area extending from 79th Street South to 81St Street between Princeton and Yale. Community Alert – 6th District – Armed Robbery (P16-2-064)
On June 16, 2016 a street vendor in the 8600 block of South Cottage Grove was approached by an individual and asked about his merchandise for sale. After the offender indicated he wished to purchase an item, the vendor produced money to make change for the transaction. As he did, the offender proceeded to produce a firearm and rob the victim of his money. On June 25, 2016 another vendor was robbed in much the same way on the 8600…

This alert gives notice to residents in the 15th District (Austin) of recent robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of July 2016.
