Community Alert – 1st District – Theft – Green Line/Wabash (JA148492)
Area Central Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the above two suspects responsible for taking cell phones from citizens. The incident occurred on February 11, 2017 at approximately 7:00 p.m., on the CTA Green line train located in 100 block of N. Wabash St. As the train stopped at this location, the offender’s entered onto the train, approached the victims, took their phones from their hands and fled the train. For More Information Click Here

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 7th District (Englewood) of an increase in reported armed robberies involving similarly described offenders. In each incident, the offenders lure their victims via social media to purchase items. A firearm is ultimately produced and the victim is robbed of his belongings. Community Alert – 11th District – Armed Robbery & Home Invasion (P17-N-039)
This alert gives notice of two recent Incidents that have occurred in the 011th District. In the first incident, the victim was walking in an alley and the two offenders pulled up in a 4-door silver vehicle. One offender exited the vehicle, displayed a handgun and took money and clothing from the victim.
