This alert gives notice to citizens in the 7th District (Englewood) of recently reported armed robberies involving similarly described offenders. Community Alert – 19th District – Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault (JA245622)
On April 30, 2017 at approximately 9:10 p.m. a 31-year-old female was walking southbound on the 4300 block of North Campbell when she was approached from behind by an unknown offender, described as a male black wearing a dark colored sweatshirt. The offender produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The offender then ordered the victim into the alley on the 2400 block of W. Pensacola where he sexually assaulted her. 24 Apr 17-Community Alert 1st District Robbery on CTA (P17-1-100CA) This alert gives notice of robbery related incidents during the month of April 2017. Two incidents occurred on the CTA trains while in motion. Unknown offender(s) punched the unsuspecting victims in the face, causing bodily harm, and then grabbed the victim’s cell phones or purses, and fled as the train doors opened.
