On April 20, 2017 at about 1:30 p.m., a male subject was seen parking his vehicle on 4800 block of W. Shakespeare Ave. near school grounds during recess. The grounds
are bordered by a wrought iron fence. The male stood by his car with the driver’s door open, watching the children for several minutes. The male began to make a beckoning gesture with his hand, trying to get a male preschool student’s attention. Two school employees, who had been monitoring the male offender, then walked towards him. The male ran to the open driver’s door, and drove west on Shakespeare Ave., then north on Lamon Ave., running the corner stop sign as he sped away.
