Anthony Jackson and Lawrence Brown were arrested and charged in connection to a triple homicide where five people were shot on September 29, 2015, at approximately 12:10 am, on the 300 block of W. 42nd St. The homicide victims, a 22-year-old female, a 24-year-old male and a 30-year-old male, along with the two other victims, were part of a large group standing on the sidewalk when the offenders approached on foot from an alley and fired multiple shots into the crowd. The offenders then fled scene northbound in a van. The offenders were subsequently located and arrested by Area Central detectives and were charged accordingly the morning of October 24, 2015. The surviving victims, a 26-year-old female and a 36-year-old male, each sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and were listed in good condition at area hospitals.
