Martin and Davis-Diming were placed into custody and charged after being positively identified as the individuals involved in the armed robbery on the 0-100 block of E. Delaware Pl at approximately 10:14 a.m. on July 5th, 2016. In this incident, the offenders approached a male, 69, and a female, 70, and displayed a handgun while demanding property.  The victims complied and the male was then shoved to the ground by the offenders before they fled on foot.  Officers observed the offenders a short distance away and placed them into custody after a brief foot pursuit.  A handgun and proceeds from the robbery were recovered.  No injuries were reported.  Both offenders were charged accordingly.  No further information is available at this time.
