23 Apr 17- 15th District Community alert attempt kidnapping

On April 23, 2017, at approximately 3:35 p.m., a female juvenile was playing on the sidewalk near Jackson and Lockwood. The minor fell off her bicycle and an
unknown offender approached her and put a plastic bag over her head. The minor got scared and kicked the offender causing him to run away east on Jackson then south on Lockwood. The minor ran into the home where her mother was visiting and alerted her mother who then called 911. The victim was visiting relatives and is not familiar with the neighborhood.
