This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several garage burglaries that occurred during the month of August 2017. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) gained entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the overhead/side door and windows. Offender(s) then removed construction tools, bicycles, lawn equipment, snow blower, lawn care equipment, laptops, jewelry and money.
