Markus Spires was arrested after being identified as the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal traffic crash which occurred on July 3, 2016 at approximately 4:33 a.m. on the 7800 block of S. Loomis. Spires struck a vehicle occupied by a 30-year-old female who died as a result of injuries suffered during the crash. Spires was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
