This alert gives notice to residents of the 4th District (South Chicago) an increase in reported residential burglaries. During the month of August, six residential burglaries were reported in the area extending from East End Ave and Constance between 76th and 79th Street. In each of these incidents, the offenders gained access to the residence via a side or rear window.
