About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to businesses residing in the 15th District (Austin) of Robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of February. In these incidents, an unknown male offender enters the store and grabs money out of the cash register. In each incident offender threatened or battered the victim with a knife
or screwdriver.
Incident times and locations are listed below:
• 5500 block of West Division on February 7, 2016 at 6:10 P.M.
• 5500 block of West Division on February 18, 2016 at 12:42 P.M.
About the Offenders:
• Unknown male African American, 40-50 years of age armed with a knife or
screwdriver

What you can do:
• Report suspicious activity immediately
• Attempt to obtain any identifying information on offender (e.g. height, weight,
clothing description, exact words used during commission of crime,…)
• Ensure surveillance equipment is working properly
• If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information
• Dial 9-1-1 immediately and remain on scene
