About This Crime: This alert gives notice to residents of the South Shore (004th) District of recent armed robberies that occurred along 79th Street at CTA bus stops. In each incident, the victims were awaiting the arrival of a CTA bus when the offender(s) approached on foot. The offender(s) then proceeded to produce a firearm and demand the victim’s property.
