Community Alert – 19th District – Attempted Child Luring (JC167668)
On February 27, 2019, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the juveniles were outside for recess on school grounds on the 600 block of West Drummond Place when a black vehicle stopped in the street. The unknown offender gestured his hand for the juveniles to approach and stated “I’m your Uber driver, get in the car.” The minors then sought help from a school staff member as the unknown offender drove away.
