Roadside Safety Check – 16th (Jefferson Park) District
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Jefferson Park (16th) District at 5900 W. Irving Park Rd. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19th, 2015. Click here for more information

Business Alert – 24th District – Commercial Burglaries (P15-N-210)
Commercial burglaries have occurred in the 24th (Rogers Park) District where unknown offender(s) gained entry by throwing a rock or brick through the front or side door window of the establishment to gain entry. The offenders(s) then pry open the cash register and stole cash. In one incident the register was also taken and in another incident a Plexiglas cabinet was forced open. This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several residential and apartment burglaries that have occurred in the month of September 2015. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences through windows or doors and have taken electronics, jewelry, cash and other miscellaneous items. Community Alert – 16th & 16th Districts – Robberies (P15-N-208)
In these cases, a victim is approached from behind by 1 to 4 unknown offender(s). One offender displays a dark or silver colored handgun, while the other offender(s) takes property from the victim. Business Alert – 11th District – Armed Robberies of Taxi Cab Drivers (P15-N-207)
Armed Robberies of Taxi Cab drivers have occurred in the 11th District. In these instances an offender entered the Taxi and displayed a handgun demanding cash and personal property from the driver. Click here for more information on the Business Alert

Community Engagement: 15th District with BUILD Chicago
015th District Officers and BUILD Chicago’s All-Star Team met at Moore Park in the Austin community to play a game of softball to encourage positive interaction through teamwork and sports. It was a win-win situation for the community and the officers.
