Three Juveniles Charged Fatal North Lawndale Shooting
Three male juveniles were arrested after they were identified as the persons responsible for fatally shooting a 15 year old boy. The incident occurred in the 4100 block of W. Cullerton St., on June 17, 2015 at approximately 10:00 p.m. Three male juveniles approached a 15 year old boy and announced a robbery. The 15 year old turned to flee when he was shot in the back. Community Alert – 3rd District – Attempted Luring (HY305987)
On June 18, 2015 at approximately 8:00 AM, at 60th and Rhodes, a 14 year old female was walking to school when an unknown male and unknown female attempted to lure her into their vehicle. They pulled alongside the female and asked her if she wanted a ride. She refused and immediately informed a school crossing guard. South Shore Man Charged in Kenwood Murder
Arieus Fitch, 20 was arrested after he was identified as the man who shot 2 juveniles, fatally wounding one. This incident occurred on May 24, 2015 at approximately 8:20 p.m. in the 4400 block of S. Cottage Grove Ave. Two male, ages 14 and 15, were walking outside when shots were fired at them from a passing light colored sedan. South Side Man Charged in Michigan Avenue Stabbing
Michael Wims, Jr. was arrested in connection to a stabbing that occurred on June 10, 2015, at approx. 4:35 pm on the 200 block of S. 3rd district Attempt Luring _HY283594_On June 1, 2015, at approximately 6:20 AM, in the 7200 block of S. Stony Island Ave, two (2) unknown black males attempted to lure a14 year old female into their vehicle. The female youth refused and ran away. After following the youth a short distance the vehicle drove off in unknown direction. The female youth ran home and informed her mother who called police.
