Man Extradited from Florida for 2014 Murder
Anthony Guedes was extradited from Kissimmee, Florida after he was identified as one of the people who participated in the murder of a 24 year old male on September 5, 2014 in the 6200 block of S. Kilpatrick Ave. at approximately 5:11 p.m. The victim was found deceased inside a residence with a gunshot wound to the head. Man Extradited from Wisconsin for Murder
Omar Dixon was extradited from Wisconsin after he was identified as the man who shot a male victim in the 8100 block of S. Artesian Ave., on January 14, 2015 at approximately 5:20 p.m. Dixon produced a handgun, announced a robbery and fatally shot a 24-year-old male victim in the chest. Community Alert – 8th District – Attempted Luring (HY125117)
On January 21, 2015 at approximately 3:15 PM, an unknown male in a parked red minivan, attempted to lure a female youth into his vehicle by telling her that her mother told him to pick her up from school. The female youth refused and walked away. The offender at this time fled in the vehicle. This incident occurred in the vicinity of the 4700 block of South Komensky.
