This incident occurred on March 10, 2017 at approximately 8:55 p.m., on the CTA Pink Line train located in the 2000 Block of S. Kostner Avenue. The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol in the Ogden (10th) District this weekend. The DUI Saturation Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017. The purpose of this program is to saturate a pre-designated area with roving police officers that continually monitor vehicular traffic for signs of impaired driving. Strategic Anti-Violence Mission Results in Arrest of One of the 010th District’s Most Dangerous Offenders
Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of 24th and Rockwell on November 12, 2016 at approx. 01:00am. Officers observed a car speeding away from the scene. Officers curbed the offender’s vehicle, while assisting units located a victim. The victim stated he was shot at while parking his vehicle. Arson Section Detectives are seeking to identify or speak to the above individual regarding a series of arsons that occurred in the alleyways of the 12th and 10th Districts. Available materials contained within garbage cans and bulk refuse items were ignited. Six fires occurred on September 16, 2016 at approximately 2:45 a.m. to 3:20am. This alert gives notice to residents of the 012th District (Near West) and 010th District (Ogden) to fires which have been set in the alleyways, specifically on beat 1234 and beat 1034. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have ignited available materials contained within the garbage cans and/or bulk items left in the alley.
