This alert gives notice to residents in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of an increase in robbery related incidents during the month of August on Beat 312. During these incidents, multiple offenders have approached the victim(s), brandished a weapon (pocket knife or unknown metal object), and after a struggle, taken property before fleeing the area. Community Alert – 25th District – Robbery (P15-N-175)
Two recent Armed Robbery incidents have occurred in the 25th District. In both cases, two teenage male offenders approach adult female victims, display a dark colored handgun, and demand property. In these incidents, offenders approached the victims on the street and used force to rob them.
