24th District – Rogers Park
The 24th District is made up of the following neighborhoods: Rogers Park, Edgewater, and West Ridge. It includes Lakefront (Juneway-Thorndale), People Gas, and S&C Electric.
Meet your commander – Alison T. Christian
Commander Christian is a 29-year member of the Department who previously served as the Captain in the 024th (Rogers Park) District, which she has worked for the majority of her career. Commander Christian was a Captain in the 010th (Ogden) District and a Lieutenant in the 011th (Harrison) District. She gained extensive knowledge of the 024th District over the years, having served the district as a Tactical Lieutenant, Watch Operations Lieutenant, Field Lieutenant, Sector Sergeant, District Station Supervisor and Community Policing Sergeant. Commander Christian holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Safety Management from Calumet College of Saint Joseph.
