This draft revision will replace the appropriate sections of CPD’s existing directives on interactions with persons who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing. As part of our ongoing mission to grow trust within the communities we serve, CPD again invites the community to review and provide feedback on the revised Interactions with Persons who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing directive beginning December 9, 2025 through December 23, 2025. After the comment period concludes, CPD will review the additional feedback received to guide future revisions to the drafts. CPD will consider your comments before finalizing the directive.
