25th District officers and Area Five detectives took a convicted felon into custody on March 5, 2025, for a string of burglaries to a storage facility in the Montclare neighborhood. The 2506 mission team worked diligently alongside Property Crimes detectives to identify and locate a 40-year-old male offender who was responsible for entering multiple storage units at the facility and removing property from within. The offender was charged with four felony counts of burglary. This offender was subsequently identified as the person responsible for multiple burglaries in Berwyn, where he was also charged accordingly. Great work by the officers and detectives in working collaboratively to bring charges against this offender.
