The 15th District is made up of the following neighborhoods: Austin. It includes the Chicago West Illinois Secretary of State Facility, Chicago Water Pumping Station, and Rockne Stadium.
Meet your commander – Carlin Morse
Commander Morse, a 25-year member of the Department, most recently served as the Captain of the 020th (Lincoln) District. While in the 020th District, Commander Morse assisted in overseeing District operations and providing direction to District personnel. He also served as a Captain and Lieutenant in the Office of Community Policing. While there, he supervised program development aimed at enhancing community engagement and building community trust. Prior to this, he was the Commanding Officer of In-Service Training at the Training Academy. He directed in-service training for LEMART, Tactical Response Unit, Driving School, Procedural Justice and Use of Force Sections. He also served the 003rd (Grand Crossing) District and 002nd (Wentworth) District as a Lieutenant. As a Sergeant, he worked at the Training Academy, the Research & Development Division, the Crime Prevention Information Center and the 003rd District. He was also a Detective in the Bureau of Detectives in Area 1 and Area 4, as well as a Detective in the Bureau of Internal Affairs. Commander Morse holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Xavier University and a bachelor’s degree in Public Safety Management from Calumet College of St. Joseph.
