About the Crime:

This alert gives notice of Armed Robberies that have occurred within the 004th

District (South Chicago). In these incidents an unknown offender(s) approached the

victims, produced a handgun, and announced a robbery.

Incident times and locations:

7800 Block of South Burnham Ave on Thursday August 17, 2017 at 5:45pm

3100 Block of East 79th St on Friday September 01, 2017 at 01:00am

7600 Block of South Kingston on Tuesday September 05, 2017 at 11:00pm

8100 Block of South Essex Ave on Sunday August 20, 2017 at 9:35pm

About the Offender(s):

Male Black Offender 5’06”-5’10, 140-160lbs 18-20 yoa

• Be aware of your surroundings

• Be aware of this crime.

• Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide the information to police

• Pay special attention to any suspicious persons or vehicles loitering in the area.

• Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of any suspicious people

including any vehicle description and license plate information.
